By uniting some of the world’s most emblematic trail running events we want to have a shared vision: to celebrate the diversity, authenticity, and spirit of trail running across the globe. Each race is unique, shaped by its landscape, its people, and its culture, yet all are connected by common values that define what this sport truly represents.
At its core, World Trail Majors stands for diversity — embracing the wide range of terrains, distances, and cultures that enrich trail running. It promotes deep respect for nature, local communities, and cultural heritage, ensuring that every race honours and protects the environment that makes it possible. Each event proudly preserves its own identity, maintaining its essence and traditions while being part of a global network built on collaboration rather than uniformity.
Sustainability is a guiding principle, with a focus on responsible growth that safeguards natural spaces and guarantees that future generations can enjoy the same trails and landscapes. Above all, World Trail Majors celebrates community — the volunteers, residents, and runners who come together to share effort, emotion, and respect for the mountains. United by integrity and independence, these races form a collective that values authenticity over commercial control, keeping the true spirit of trail running alive
