With the publication of the MIUT 2027 Race Regulations, the countdown to another epic edition on the trails of Madeira Island officially begins. It’s time to set your goals, fine-tune your strategy and make sure everything is ready for your return to the adventure.
As in previous years, registrations will open progressively throughout October, giving each distance its own registration opening date.
The first race to open for registration will be MIUT Legend, on 12 October at 15:00 (Lisbon time). This will be followed by MIUT Advanced on 13 October, MIUT Discover on 14 October, MIUT Marathon on 15 October and MIUT Starter on 16 October, all at the same time.
Due to the high demand for some of the distances, we strongly recommend that all athletes carefully read the regulations and prepare all the information required for registration in advance.
It is important to remember that participants wishing to register for MIUT Legend, MIUT Advanced or MIUT Discover must meet the minimum qualification requirements at the time of registration. Results obtained afterwards cannot be considered, making it essential to check your ITRA profile in advance.
Whether your goal is to cross the island from coast to coast on the Legend, take on the challenges of the Advanced, discover Madeira’s most iconic trails on the Discover, tackle the Marathon or begin your journey into the MIUT experience with the Starter, now is the perfect time to start preparing for your next great adventure.
