The countdown is on — just 7 days to go!
Here’s some important information to make sure you’re fully ready for race day.

At MIUT, we strongly believe that the event brings significant value to Madeira. Since 2018, we have been committed to measuring and understanding the positive impact MIUT has on the island.
To help us continue this work, we kindly ask you to complete a short form. This process is mandatory and will only take a couple of minutes.
Please note that all information provided is confidential and will not be directly linked to you. We fully respect and protect your privacy.

👟 Personal Assistance
Runners in MIUT Legend, Advanced, and Discover will receive a Race ID Card during check-in. This card must be given to the person responsible for your personal assistance (maximum of one assistant per runner).
Please make sure to review the designated checkpoints where personal assistance is allowed, as it is not permitted at all locations.
We also remind you that:
- The aid station area is strictly reserved for runners only
- Personal assistants are not allowed to access food or drinks from aid stations
- A separate assistance area will be available, where water is provided for assistants
Runners in MIUT Marathon and Starter distances are not allowed personal assistance.

🧳 Drop Bags
Runners in MIUT Legend and Advanced will receive a drop bag for spare clothing or personal items.
- Drop bags will be available at Curral das Freiras, and later transported to the finish line
For runners in MIUT Discover, Marathon, and Starter the bag provided at check-in is intended for personal belongings you wish to have available at the finish line.
Please make sure to deliver this bag at the start line of your race.
After finishing, you can collect your bag at the race kit tent. Collection can be made by you or someone on your behalf, upon presentation of your race bib.
đź•› Important: All drop bags must be collected by 12:00 on April 26, 2026.
We’ll be sharing more key information early next week, including live timing, recovery services, showers, and other race-day essentials.
Stay tuned — MIUT is just around the corner!
