MIUT® – Madeira Island Ultra-Trail® 2026 has reached another major milestone: all race distances are now sold out after the lottery, with the exception of the MIUT Legend.
If you were hoping to secure a place in one of the other distances, there are still two official ways to enter: Solidarity Bibs and Travel Bibs.
Both options guarantee a slot even when the registrations are full — but each comes with specific conditions and limited availability. Here’s how they work.
1. Solidarity Bib – Support a Cause & Secure Your Entry
A Solidarity Bib guarantees a place in any MIUT® 2026 race, even after they are sold out.
To obtain one, participants must:
- Contact MIUT® at [email protected] to request a Solidarity Bib and choose one of the partner organizations/causes.
- Make a €300 donation directly to the organization you selected.
- Once your donation is confirmed, the organization will inform MIUT® and provide your details.
- After MIUT® receives the confirmation, you will receive an email with the instructions to complete your race registration.
Key Points:
- Each organization has 4 Solidarity Bibs available.
- Deadline: 31 January 2026, or until sold out.
- Registration rules remain exactly the same as a normal entry
(qualification requirements, fees for the first phase, refunds, transfers, etc.) - To express interest, email: [email protected]
2. Travel Bib – Book Your Stay & Join the Race
A Travel Bib gives you access to any sold-out MIUT® 2026 distance by booking an accommodation package through the official travel agency ( Intertours Madeira ).
To secure one:
- Book at least 5 nights via the official MIUT® travel agency.
- Enter the code MIUTBIBTRAVEL2026 in the “Other Information” field of the booking form or contact them stating that you are a runner that wants to adquire a travel bib.
- After the package is paid, the agency sends your information to MIUT®.
- You will then receive an email with instructions to finalize your race registration.
Key Points:
- Only 20 Travel Bibs are available.
- Deadline: 28 Fevereiro 2026, or until sold out.
- Registration rules are the same as for a standard entry (qualification points, first-phase fee, refunds, transfers, etc.).
Final Reminder
With general registrations now closed and bibs limited, these two options may be your final chance to join MIUT® 2026 — whether by supporting an important cause or booking your stay on the island.
